<body><h2>Desktop</h2>
<p>The Desktop tab provides options to customize the appearance of your desktop. To view this tab, click the person-shaped icon at the upper-right of the desktop and select <strong>Personal</strong>.</p>
<h4>To change the background and text color of your desktop:</h4>
<ol>

Tick <b>Customize color</b> and then choose from the drop-down menus to change the text color of desktop thumbnails and the background color of DSM desktop.

Click <b>OK</b>.

<h4>To upload a customized image that will be used as your desktop wallpaper:</h4>
<ol>

Tick <b>Customize wallpaper</b>, and then do any of the following to select your background image:

<li>
If you want to use an image stored on your Synology NAS, click <b>Select image</b> to select the image, and then click <b>Select</b>.
</li>
<li>
If you want to use the default wallpaper provided by Synology, or select an image that have used as the background image before, click <b>Select image</b>, select an image in the <b>My Images</b> section, and then click <b>Select</b>.<br />

<li>
If you want to use an image stored on your computer, click <b>Select image</b>, and then click <strong>Upload</strong> to select the image.

<li>
Choose from the drop-down menu to decide how the background image is arranged on your DSM desktop.</li>
<li>
Click <b>OK</b>.
